Product Description:
Zearalenone (ZEN), also known as F-2 toxin, is mainly produced by Fusarium graminearum, F.culmorum. It is widely existing in nature, mainly found in wheat, corn, barley, oats and other grain. ZEN has a toxic effect similar to estrogen effect, and has great damage to human and animal reproductive systems.
FSTest Zearalenone Rapid Test Kit is based on immunochromatographic assay. The test cassette has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated recombinant antigens. If there are zearalenone in the sample, The appear of T line will be inhibited in the relative window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can indicate the presence of zearalenone in the sample.
