On November 21, 2025, the Second Food Safety Rapid Detection Competition kicked off at Guangdong Polytechnic Of Science And Trade as part of the 2025 Belt & Road and BRICS Of Competition Skills Development and Technology Innovation !

With the aim of promoting technical exchanges and skills development in food safety among the Belt & Road Initiative and BRICS countries, this competition is committed to cultivating and selecting high-caliber technical and skilled professionals in food safety, so as to serve the national strategies and the demand for international talent cultivation.

Mr. Shi Song, Chairman of Dayuan & Oasis FoodTech Ltd., stated in his speech that through this high-level competition, we can truly realize the goal of "promoting learning through competitions, advancing research through competitions, and boosting development through competitions" — stimulating innovative thinking, tempering professional skills, pooling wisdom from the industry, and jointly pushing the food safety testing technology to a new level.

The competition is hosted by the China Chapter of the BRICS Business Council, the  International Alliance Of Skills Development for Belt &Road and BRICS, and the Belt &Road and BRICS Training Center for Skills Development and Technology Innovation.  It is jointly organized by the China Association of Inventions and the China Center for internatlonal People-to-People Exchange, Minitry of Education(MOE), and undertaken by the China Section of BRlCS Business Council Skills Development,  Applied Technology and innovation Working Group, Applied Technology, and Innovation (China). Co-organizers include Guangdong Polytechnic Of Science And Trade, Dayuan & Oasis FoodTech Ltd., Beijing ARC Xinxing Science&Technology Co., Ltd., and BRlCS Academy of Skills Development and Technology innovation (Xiamen).The successful holding of this competition marks that the skill cooperation and technological innovation in the field of food safety between the Belt & Road Initiative and BRICS countries have entered a new stage, continuously injecting talent and technological momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
