Principle

The kit is designed based on the colloidal gold double antibody sandwich method. In detail, if the sample contains feline coronavirus, it will bind to the colloidal gold-labeled specific monoclonal antibody on the pad to form a complex during the flow. Driven by the capillary effect, the complex then continues to run upward, and binds to the feline coronavirus antibody on the detection line. In this case, the detection line shows red color, and the result is positive. Otherwise, when there is no feline coronavirus in the sample or the number of viruses is below the detection limit, the detection line does not show red color and the result is negative. Regardless of whether the sample contains feline coronavirus or not, the control line will always show red color, which means the test card is valid, or else it is invalid.
