The coronavirus pneumonia is a pulmonary inflammation caused by novel coronavirus (nCoV) infection. World Health Organization (WHO) has named this novel coronavirus as 2019-nCoV. The infections can bring about varying degrees of symptoms, range from the slightest without no external symptoms (known as asymptomatic infection), just fever or mild cough, developing into pneumonia, to severe or even death.

Influenza is a highly contagious and rapidly spreading disease. It is mainly transmitted through air droplets, the contact between people or with contaminated items. Influenza can be divided into influenza A and influenza B. Influenza A virus has a wider range of natural hosts, including human, poultry, livestock, etc. So, it is prone to mutation and pandemic. Comparatively, the natural host of the influenza B is mainly human, and the variation is smaller.
