How it Works: Step-by-Step Testing

The FSTest device features a clear Testing Area with a Control (C) zone and a Test (T) zone.

1. Sample Preparation: Mash 100g of the representative sample. Extract 1g using the diluted extracting solution and shake for 3 minutes.

2. Dilution: Centrifuge at 4000rpm for 1 minute. Take 0.1mL of the supernatant and mix with 0.9mL of histamine diluent.

3. Testing: Pipette 150µl of the solution into the microwell and insert the lateral flow strip.

4. Result Interpretation: Read at 5 minutes.

￮ Negative: Both C line and T line appear clearly.

￮ Positive: C line appears, but the T line is significantly weaker or invisible (indicating histamine presence).

￮ Invalid: No C line appears.
