The FSTest™ Vibrio parahaemolyticus Count Plate is a commercially available, single-use, ready-to-use culture medium product designed for modern food microbiology laboratories and quality control environments. By innovating the traditional testing workflow, this rapid microbial testing product greatly simplifies the testing procedure, making it especially suitable for use by sanitary inspection authorities and food production and processing enterprises.
Product Features & Advantages
Advanced Formulation & Ready-to-Use Culture Medium: Each plate contains key components for accurate microbial analysis, including a highly selective medium, an absorbent gel, and specific enzymatic indicators.
Rapid Detection of Foodborne Pathogens: Accelerate your food quality control processes; the presence of pathogenic bacteria can be confirmed after an incubation period of just 15-24 hours.
Clear Visual Differentiation for Colony Counting: V. parahaemolyticus is easily identified by the growth of typical purple colonies, streamlining the bacterial contamination testing process.
High Selectivity: Most non-target organisms do not grow on the test plate. A few exceptions, such as V. vulnificus and V. cholerae, may grow, but their colonies appear blue and are clearly distinguishable from the target organism, ensuring highly reliable pathogen screening.
Scope of Application & Industry Solutions
The count plates are intended to rapid test V. parahaemolyticus in a variety of challenging food matrices to maintain strict food hygiene standards:
Ø Raw aquatic products and general seafood safety testing.
Ø Pickled or cooked seafood products.
Ø Aquatic condiments and related food items.

Product Value & Operational Advantages
Different from traditional microbial detection methods that require medium preparation, sterilization, pouring and other complex pre-processing steps, FSTest™ Vibrio parahaemolyticus Count Plate adopts an integrated one-piece design, which effectively eliminates manual operation errors caused by medium configuration and experimental preparation. It lowers the professional operation threshold of microbial detection, allowing technicians with basic experimental capabilities to complete efficient bacterial detection operations quickly.
This product perfectly adapts to high-frequency detection scenarios in the food industry. It not only shortens the overall detection cycle and improves the efficiency of factory batch inspection, regular sampling inspection and market supervision sampling, but also maintains stable and accurate detection results in complex food sample environments. The intuitive colony color distinction feature greatly reduces the difficulty of manual counting and result judgment, effectively avoiding missed detection and misjudgment problems caused by colony confusion.
In addition, the standardized independent packaging design ensures the sterile state of each count plate, avoiding cross-contamination during storage and use. It balances the dual needs of laboratory precision detection and on-site rapid screening, providing reliable, convenient and efficient microbial detection solutions for food safety supervision, enterprise quality control and third-party testing institutions.
