Description
FSTEST Pseudomonas aeruginosa Detecting Plate are sterile dehydrated culture medium prepared in a Petri dish, which is immediately ready to use after pouring sterile distilled water. It provides the selective growth medium to Pseudomonas aeruginosa, on which the colonies show yellow-green, and is optimal for the examination of large sample volumes by the membrane filter method.
Preparation
1. Cut open a bag and remove the number of detecting plates needed.
2. Pipette 1 ml of sterile distilled water to moisten the culture medium in the detecting plates
3. Using within 30 minutes.
Test Procedure
Filter the sample trough a filter membrane (0.45 µm pore diameter).
Transfer the membrane into the detecting plates that just moisten.
Incubate aerobically at 36 ± 1°C for 24-28 hours.
Application
Intended to test Pseudomonas aeruginosa in all kinds of domestic drinking water, industrial water, surface water (e.g., lake, river, mountain spring water, etc.) and food.
Limit of detection
Membrane filtration method: 1 CFU/250mL
Direct sampling method: 1 CFU/1mL
Kit composition
Detecting plates ×5
